Laser Skin Rejuvenation

Skin Renewal Procedure with CO2 Fractional Laser

Remarkable Results, Single Treatment Laser Skin Resurfacing

The goal of laser skin resurfacing is simple: replace damaged skin with new, fresh skin. Techniques for skin resurfacing have made enormous advances, allowing nearly everyone to achieve close to flawless complexions. Many systems allow for light, moderate or deep laser resurfacing.

Truly a laser "alternative" to a facelift for many patients. (See actual patient pictures below)

The primary targets of laser skin resurfacing include:
  • Fine and deeper lines and wrinkles of the face, especially around the upper lip, cheeks and forehead
  • Loose eyelid skin
  • Crow's feet around the eyes
  • Pucker marks (smoker's lines) and frown lines
  • Brown spots and splotchy, uneven skin tone
  • Scars, especially acne scars
  • Loose skin around the neck and jowls
The CO2 (fractional and conventional) laser remains the "gold standard" for skin resurfacing and rejuvenation.  Dr. Dannaker has performed well over 1000 full face CO2 laser resurfacings and his experience spans from the early development stages in the 1990's through the introduction of fractional CO2 lasers  in the early 2000s and subsequent refinement of the technology.  The CO2 laser is not safe for all skin types and involves some risk and downtime.  Dr. Dannaker advises that ONLY a physician and preferably a board certified dermatologist or plastic surgeon should ever perform CO2 laser resurfacing.  If deep resurfacing is not required or safe, Dr. Dannaker will suggest the patient consider less invasive and safer procedures such as a series of non-ablative laser resurfacing (Fraxel Restore, Fraxel Dual), microneedle radiofrequency, microneedling, etc. instead.

Dr. Dannaker has performed laser skin resurfacing facial procedures since near the dawn of modern laser resurfacing in the 1990's. There are a very few dermatologists with such experience.  Dr. Dannaker  embraced the current safer form of CO2 fractional resurfacing for those with significant sun damage and lax skin.  Dr. Dannaker's can help you navigate the sometimes confusing field of laser skin resurfacing and help you understand the limitations and risks of the current state of the art.  He ultimately wants you to be completely satisfied with your choice and results.
